September 16, 2024, Vancouver, BC – The 2024 Canada-Mexico Business Dialogue, hosted by CMX Partnerships, concluded on a high note, marking yet another chapter in the ever-strengthening relationship between Canada and Mexico. This premier event brought together government officials, industry experts, and business leaders to explore trade and investment opportunities between the two nations.

Inspiring Speakers & Dynamic Panels
The event featured a robust lineup of keynote speakers and panelists, each offering unique insights into the Canada-Mexico business landscape. Inspiring words were delivered by Olga Beatriz García Guillén, Consul General of Mexico in Vancouver, along with an engaging presentation from Hon. Jagrup Brar, Minister of State for Trade. Jeanette Jackson, CEO of Foresight Canada, captivated the audience with her standout presentation on cleantech innovation and sustainability. Whereas Mr. Cesar presented busienss opportunities in the state of Nayarit in Mexico. Aaron Fowler, Associate Assistant Deputy Minister and Chief Trade Negotiator at Global Affairs Canada, shared a compelling closing address, emphasizing Canada’s strategic global trade practices and the role Mexico can play in these initiatives.
The first panel discussion, expertly moderated by Salvador Trevino from UCW, offered rich dialogue on key sectors such as nutrition, law, and product management. Speakers like Marcela Cota Rivas from Vitalus Nutrition and Andres Abogado from Abolaw provided enlightening perspectives, fostering new ideas for enhancing cross-border opportunities. The second panel, moderated by Allison Boulton, Founder of ASLIN Canada Trading, brought together a diverse group of experts. Michele Vincenti, Professor at University Canada West, Anita Huberman, Honorary Captain in the Royal Canadian Navy, and Jane Tabot, President & CEO of Downtown Vancouver, shared valuable insights on fostering Canadian-Mexican business collaboration. The expertise and engaging perspectives from all the panelists illuminated new paths for growth and partnership between our nations.
